Theatre of the Moment

Q? Who is Third Person?

A: We are a group of improvising actors, who want to put on proper plays, without directors, playwrights, scripts or

     rehearsals.

Q? So you improvise? Is that like "Whose Line is it Anyway"?

A: That was a televised, edited, comic, sketch version of what we do. We perform in live theatre, therefore there is

     no editing.

We are not aiming at comedy although as in any play there may be comic scenes. We are aiming at full length plays

     of 1hr plus.

We are also working with actors and not comedians.

Q? Is it theatre or Impro?

A: Both? Maybe a better term is Theatre of the Moment. Riding the Zeitgeist and changing how we see theatre?

Escaping the trap that Impro = Comedy.

Q? Are there audience suggestions?

A: Not usually. Skilled improvisers asking unskilled improvisers (the audience) is asking for trouble and will end in

     comedy.

Q? So do you want your audience to know your work is improvised?

A: We do tell them. Many don't believe us. As long as they enjoy the show, it doesn't really matter.

Q? You don't rehearse?

A: We don't rehearse, but we do regularly meet to practice our skills and work on problems encountered with the

     work.
